Chemical base Special polyurethane system
Characteristic Cast polyurethane system with ultimate resistance against hot acids and alkalis in high concentration.
Operational area Wear resistant roll coverings and molded parts in contact with hot acids and alkalis (pH 1-14).
Special applications in machine- and equipment construction.
Specific advantages Good mechanical properties and wear resistance,high elasticity.
Maximum resistance of all available PU types in contact with hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide.
Specific resistance 20% hydrochloric acid @80°C8% sodium hydroxide @80°C
For special applications and higher concentrations, contact our technical staff regarding resistance!
Working temperature Long-term use -60 up to +80°C (dry and wet), short term use up to +100°C (dry and wet), in contact with water and chemicals depending of concentration.
Hardness 80° Shore A, further hardness formulations in development
Colors Nature (white to beige), yellow
Alternatives Asmaprene D (for very good resistance against many acids and alkalis in lower concentrations and temperature up to 80°C )
