Context of Academy -ConvertedtoanAcademywithBrightonUniversityinSeptember2015.

-LindfieldPrimaryisadesignatedthreeformentryAcademy,providingeducationforchildrenatFoundationYearandatKeyStages1and2.ItissituatedinthevillageofLindfield,WestSussex.Assuchitisaruralschool,borderingthetownofHaywardsHeath,acommuterbelttown.-TheschoolwasformedinSeptember2000bytheamalgamationofLindfieldInfants'andJuniorSchools.InSeptember2013duetolocalpressureonpupilnumbersourintakeandPANhasbeenincreasedto90pupils.Wealreadyaccommodated75pupilsinbothSeptember2010and2011asitwasthoughtbyLAthatthedemandforpupilplacesinourlocalitywasonlytemporary.TheschoolcompletedanexpansiontosecurethePANof90ineachyeargroup.LindfieldPrimaryAcademywillreach630onrollbySeptember2018.-TheAcademyeducateschildrenlivinginthevillageandsurroundingcatchmentareas(mainlyHaywardsHeath).About20%ofpupilsarefromoutsidethedesignatedcatchmentarea.-AttheendofKeyStage2,mostofourchildren(approximately90%)transfertoOathallCommunityCollegeorWardenParkAcademyandaverysmallminoritytotheindependentschoolsector.-TheAcademyhasstrongvillageandcommunitytiesandthereareactivelinkswiththelocalchurches,localcharitiesandorganisations,parishcouncil,localbusinesses,localcarehomes,multi-agencies(includingCAMHSandHaywardsHeathChildDevelopmentTeam),nurseryschools,playgroups,andlocalsecondaryschools.-Ourchildrenrepresentavarietyofsocialbackgroundswithinanareaoflimitedculturaldiversity.AfewchildrenhaveEnglishasanadditionallanguage.-PleaseseetheattachedstaffingorganisationforLindfieldPrimaryAcademy.-Numberofstaff:
