CO-DESIGN & PROCESS DESIGN
Product Co-design• Early involvement in Customer’s project• Prototypes, soft tools, Magma Soft simulation, FEM analysis• Multifunctional analysis and proposals, die-casting process optimization
Process design• Die-casting process parameters• Machines controls and records• Bruschi Vacuum technology• Control of downstream processes – Purchasing Department
ASSEMBLY
Reduced components for productZinc die casting allows to reduce the number of components for subassembly, less parts to control and saving in terms of assembly process: this means less mechanical issues and economical saving in terms of mechanical processing.
Assembly directly in plantIn Bruschi we are able to assembly directly in our plants, reducing costs and minimizing risks.
SIMULATION
The benefits of simulation in die casting Bruschi provides tools able to simulate the entire production life cycle with the aim to choose the best possible way to meet the customer's goals. Thanks to our over 70 years experience in industry of zinc die casting we are able to draw, correct and develop molds for every zinc die cast part.
Our technology and our simulation tools as MAGMASOFT ® help us to anticipate issue and minimize risks, by finding the most suitable solution in each project.
QUALITY
Our quality standards are subjected to strict quality controls to meet our customer expectations and ensure that our customers receive high-quality products. A production process and quality standards you can trust.
Thanks to our expertise in the die casting industry of zinc alloy, we are able to anticipate our customers’ needs and expectations, by providing engineering solutions to accelerate time of delivery, improve performances and simplify integrations.

IZA European Zinc Die Casting Award
KitchenAid decided to develop a new coffee machine characterized by a stunning shapes and innovative finishings. KitchenAid asked to Bruschi a solution to reach its goal.
Bruschi simulated with MAGMASOFT ® the whole cover to ensure to KitchenAid a great result, innovative shapes and saving.

Co-Design
On all the parts the co-design activity has been carried out along with the customer technical team
The final shape of the parts has properly designed in order to meet both functional and process requirements
The DFM study included filling simulation and thermal balancing simulation by means of MagmaSoft program
These activities allowed reaching the correct thickness value, considering the good structure of the casting and the good surface condition
Innovative shapes for mass market
KitchenAid Small Appliance Global Senior Quality Manager Darrin Keiser said: “My experience with Bruschi has been a very gratifying journey. From the early days of the project where we had to choose a supplier with highly capable people, methods and manufacturing process, it was clear to me that Bruschi was a winning choice. Its team is committed to the high quality expectation our brand is associated with.”
NADCA International Die Casting Award
ARCA decided to cut costs by minimizing the number of components for its products and asked Bruschi a solution to reduce costs.
Bruschi suggested a co-design activity in order to develop a special component which could replace three different parts. Bruschi used zinc instead of stainless steel to develop this special component, saving on assembly and cutting costs in terms of processing. For ARCA this meant a saving up to 40%.

Saving & Technology
Bruschi used zinc instead of stainless steel to develop this special component
No assembly and scrap rates close to zero
This special component replaces three different parts
Increased mold duration and almost no secondary operations
For ARCA this meant a saving up to 40%
ARCA Global Technology Lead Link Allen Shaver said: "This achievement award is a significant industry recognition of innovative thinking that resulted in a better product and value to our customers, as well as an example of working closely with innovative supply chain partners to finds better ways to manufacture ARCA products."
