WHAT IS THE SERVICE/SOFTWARE THAT YOU INVESTIGATED? WHAT IS ITS WEB ADDRESS? StumbleUpon is a web engine that is very interesting. The goal of the service is to help the user “stumble upon”

certain interested, which are requested by the user. The user selects their specific interests and then selects the

button to “StumbleUpon” these interests. The user then has the option to like, add, dislike, share with

Facebook or other social media sites, or tell other stumblers how you feel about this page.

The like and dislike features help StumbleUpon become accustom to your taste. The add feature allows the user to add the page to a list, making the page available at a later time.

WHY WOULD WE USE IT?/ HOW WOULD WE USE IT? 

We would use it by placing our blog onto StumbleUpon. Users that have interest in our blog would happen to stumble upon it.

The primary use for StumbleUpon would be to help aid our blog with veiwers.

IS THERE A COST?/ WOULD AN INDIVIDUAL USE IT?

• No cost. You can join for free.• Yes many individuals use it. I use it all the

time when I am bored and I find the site very entertaining due to the fact that it adapts to my interest.

• Individuals may also want to you it to attract viewers towards their blog or website.

WOULD A BUSINESS USE IT? 

As a business, one may post their website onto StumbleUpon to allow “Stumblers” to access their page based upon their interests.

StumbleUpon can be a great marketing strategy since it attracts users that are actually interested in your website.
