He was behind African Americans getting basic civil rights

Martin Luther King organized and led many marches for the voting right of blacks, desegregation, labor rights and other basic civil rights. His efforts bore fruit when the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the 1965 Voting Rights Act were passed and most of these rights were enacted into law.

The King traveled over six million miles and spoke over twenty-five hundred times, appearing wherever there was injustice.

Tennessee.

We should never forget about great people.

When we stop discrimination we bring peace in this world, which everyone wants. Martin Luther King wanted us to understand that we all are the same, no matter if we are black, white or brown. Nowadays we may say that he is the one who really brought this thought in our minds.
