The Nano could potentially challenge the conventional wisdom
within the auto industry that wholly new concepts do not live
long enough. New launches basically add a whistle here and a
bell there to the plethora of existing models. Indeed, in more
than 70 car launches worldwide, there have been not more thana handful of seminal shifts within this industry.
But the Tata offering has come to topple all those casts by
reordering the status-quo. The whole story seems to strike two
notes at once. The first one is true to the old adage among
businesses that the wise profit from giving that which profits
their customers; the second dares to contrarily create and
nurture a space that others overlooked or even rejected.

The project failed due to certain technical disadvantages:-
•Uneven weight distribution & hence poor traction control.
•Poor cornering & poor handling.
•Poor engine cooling & hence more chance4 for engine
overheating.
•Almost no boot space & cramped space for rear passengers.
•More congested roads.
•More competition.
•Less margins.•Low quality.
•High Real estate prices-parking space and parking charges
will become more.

The company expect a higher demand in thecoming month.Tata Motors has projected sales of
20000to 25000 units of the Nano every month by
march 2011.
Tata Motors already has close to 6500 cars at
Sanand & has been going slow on production last
month when the average production was around
50 units per day.
Tata Moters have issues with its dealer
network, too, with not many dealers keen onpicking up the Nano mainly due to issues related
to margins on the car which are far below other
Tata products.
