by Manal

Turn on the computer and press power on the remote to turn on the PolyVision Board (it will begin to flash).

• Plug in the PolyVision stick in the USB port on the computer (right side of computer).

•Plug in the monitor cable to connect the computer screen with the PolyVision board.

If you would like to use sound, plug in the thin black cord to the PolyVision Board and the other end into the headphone port on the computer.

•If you would like to use the Visualizer, you must plug in the Visualizer cord into the USB port (next the PolyVision Bluetooth).

•To turn off the Polyvision board click the power button 2xs.

Use the pen to write or draw on the PolyVision board. Simply open the pen, press the draw/mouse button on the board's magnetic strip, and begin writing/drawing. *you can only use the pen to either write/draw or as a mouse—you must click the button on the magnetic strip to switch between using the pen as a pen or a mouse. *if the connection is lost, you may need to reconnect the USB stick

To open a blank document

(like Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)

double click on the LibreOffice

Program and click on the desired

program you would like to use.

In the libreOffice Writer program, you can create a text by typing on the computer itself or by using the keyboard function on the magnetic strip (move the keyboard around the screen by placing the cursor over it, click, and drag and drop to the desired spot…you can also make the keyboard smaller or larger by clicking on a corner of the keyboard and making it larger or smaller).

To use the Visualizer, press the power button and the visual under the camera will appear on the PolyVision Board (you can position the camera wherever you want). To zoom in on something, click the zoom button, and highlight the area you would like to zoom in on on the board or computer screen

To lock an image, press the lock button on the computer or PolyVision Board. This will keep an image in place on the board so you don’t have to worry about it moving. You can use the pen to write on top of the image if you would like.

To save an image projected on the PolyVision Board, click the camera button. It will automatically save, so you can send it by email to your students, easily access it for the next class, etc.
