adult. (Use a small silent wave to say hello to someone.)

Raise your hand to ask the teacher or adult. (Keep walking until you are noticed.)

Walking from one place to another

Walk in a single-file line. Keep a “just right” space between you and the person in front of you. Keep your hands in front, on your side, or behind your back.All Plumb students should walk and follow respectful silence in ALL sidewalk and hallway areas of school. Watch conditions and be ready to stop. Follow all adult directions and stop when they request you stop.

Ask a friend to see if together you can handle the problem…or ask an adult if you need help. Use the restroom, wash your hands, throw any towels in the trash, and walk back to your classroom silently.

WALK & TALK:

Level 0 from Café. 1-2-3 at Walk and Talk Silence walking from cafeteria to Walk and Talk Area. Levels 1 to 3 (Whisper, Partner Talk, or Teacher Voice. Be respectful of students’ learning in classrooms!Students needing help should ask an adult after they have tried to solve the problem themselves. Outside Activities include: Walk and Talk, 4 Square, jump rope, and reading.

Student should walk as they move from one area to another.

Students participating must earn the privilege in the cafeteria. Students must have their tag to go outside. Students “losing their tag” and the privilege to be at Walk and Talk will need to “walk back to the cafeteria”.
