“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside still waters,
He restores my soul.” Psalm 23:1-3a
WELCOME: Today as you worship here, it is our prayer that
you also know the Lord as your personal Guide and Shepherd.
As you face the coming week, may you experience His leading
beside still and refreshing waters. As you listen to His Word,
may He personally restore your soul and nourish you for your
journey.
Please join us after this morning’s service for a time of
refreshment in the Fellowship Hall.
Children aged 3-5 meet your teacher in the foyer during the
offering this morning for Children’s Church.
ABOUT OUR MESSAGES
This morning, our series in the book of Acts takes us to the
heart of Peter’s sermon on Pentecost. He spends time getting to
the key question before all Jews and before us yet today – who
was (is) Jesus? As the ‘dust settles’ from his crucifixion,
resurrection, ascension and the pouring out of the Spirit, Peter
insists that Jesus is the hoped-for Messiah and the Lord of all.
What do you do “When the One You Killed Becomes King”?
This evening: Are you a ‘visual learner’? Often times, people
prefer learning from pictures more than words, because
pictures can carry a huge amount of power. For this reason,
God commands that we not try to represent Him by any
image; He has come to us in His Word. The second
commandment teaches us about “The Power of a Picture.”
