Demonstrations- It is a visualized explanation of an important fact, idea or process by the use of photographs, drawing, films, displays, or guided motions. It is showing how things are done.

1.Establish rapport. Greet your audience.make them feel at ease by your warmthand sincerity. Sustain their attention.

2. Avoid the COIK fallacy (Clear Only If Known).

3. Watch for the key points.

In actual conduct of the demonstration itself we see to it that

we:

1. Get and sustain the interest of our audience2. Keep our demonstration simple, focused

and clear3. Do not hurry nor drag out the

demonstration4. Check for understanding in the process of

demonstration5. Conclude with the summary, and6. Hand out written materials at the end of

the demonstration.

Did you the follow step by step plan?

Did you make use of additional materials?

Was your explanation simple enough?

Did you keep checking if your students were listening?
