Eligibility : Undergraduates and HND Students
• who are undertaking a full-time course in a UK University or Higher Education Institution.
• who are in their second or penultimate year of study.
• who are:
bright, positive, enthusiastic, committed
and eager to secure their own success!
• Exchange students from overseas are not eligible
• You can only take part in Shell Step once

Who is Shell Step for?
• Practical experience in a real work environment, to test and improve personal and professional skills.
• The chance to make a critical difference to a real business, and test out existing career ambitions.
• The opportunity to prove, to future employers, a proactive attitude to work and a range of abilities already tested in the work place.
• 8 week full-time Summer projects
• Payment of £210 per week on full-time projects. Tax and NI free.
• The chance to present to a national panel and win up to £1,000!
What can we offer you?
Anne Farrow studying Product Design at The University of Salford was placed at United Aluminium (Unibox), a company specialising in the manufacture of exhibition stands and retail units. Anne was taken on to expand the company's product range. She conducted market research, designed a new range of products and opened up new applications and areas in which United Aluminium (Unibox) can expand. As a result of her project, Anne saved the company
£48,000.
