■ 1940’s The Pipestoppers™ Nylon Plugs were designed and developed by a German engineer called Karl Guttentag

■ Karl started to sell his plugs through his company called Hiltlake Ltd.

■ Huntingdon Fusion Techniques began purchasing these plugs in 1975 for weld purging purposes

■ Once HFT’s use had become so large, HFT purchased the product line and integrated it into the HFT range of products.

12 – 54 mm, pressure range 150 psi (smallest) to 60 psi (largest) 4 – 10 Bar
