The G30 series won in its first week on tour in the hands of Angel Cabrera, who earned a two-shot victory at the
Greenbrier Classic. He played a G30 driver and 3-wood. “The big thing was the drive today,” Cabrera said. “It was good all week. It made the course play a little shorter.”
In the final round, Cabrera averaged 331.6 yards off the tee with an average clubhead speed of 122 mph, according to PGA Tour statistics. Cabrera was also one of the most accurate drivers all week, hitting 82% of the fairways.
On Sunday, the 44-year-old Argentine had six birdies and an eagle to win at -16 (68-68-64-64). His 6-under final round was highlighted by a hole-out for eagle using an S55 8-iron on the 13th hole.

When Bubba Watson first tested turbulators on the crown of the G30 driver, he picked up two miles per hour in clubhead speed and four miles per hour in ball velocity, which meant an extra 10 yards for him. In this video filmed at PING, Bubba demonstrates the added speed and distance behind his bright-pink G30 driver featuring patented Turbulator Technology. Watch here.
