Photography TechnologyAssociate in Applied Science Degree
The Photography Technology program provides graduates with entry-level employment skills in the rapidly changing professional photography field. Following a foundation year of basic photography, digital photography, general education, and art courses, you will complete your second year with specialized courses in lighting and color design. The emphasis is on hands-on experiences to help you develop both your creative ability and your technical skills.
Career OpportunitiesStudents who graduated from the Photography Technology program have found careers in photojournalism, established local businesses, freelance on a variety of projects, and have become studio managers and digital techs in the tri-state area.

FacultyFaculty in this program are professional educators, as well as working artists who have exhibited nationally and internationally.
FacilitiesPhotography students will have access to outstanding facilities. The photography lab is fully equipped with traditional wet-lab darkrooms. It also includes a Mac-based digital imaging lab and a lighting studio with full electronic flash facilities. Students also have access to view cameras and medium format cameras.
