In 2011 Cornwall Council developed a new citizen centric approach to innovation.

#2. Don’t be afraid to start with a blank piece of paper

In Cornwall the social enterprise, DottCornwall started with an empty classroom in Redruth.

The Dott Shot campaign asked people to submit images of design. The website started with a blank page and ended with 1,000s of images.

#3. Find ways to turn your questions into shared quests

Good design costs the same as bad design, the only alternative is no design, which often costs more in the long run.
