4. The location, horizontal and vertical extents of the operations may vary by those limits

(where applied) as noted in the Description of the Flood Protection Scheme.

5. Diversion of any statutory undertaker apparatus will be carried out by or on behalf of

the statutory undertaker under its own statutory powers.

6. Where existing fencing is removed to facilitate works it will be replaced with

equivalent fencing.

7. Steps to have timber risers with gravel filled goings and be provided with timber

stringers and timber handrails.

8. Warning signage and depth boards to be placed around park.

9. Surface of access track to screen to be permeable grass crete paving.

10. Flood embankment side slopes vary from 1:3 max to approx 1:6.

11. New gravel footpath with Hoggin finish constructed in line with Highland Council Road

and Transport Guidelines section 7.

12. Flood Embankment to be sown with wildflower mix (to be specified). The Flood

Embankment adjacent to the open channel watercourse to be seeded with wildflower

to suit semi-dry/wet conditions (to be specified).

DESCRIPTION

CP-01

THE EXISTING CULLODEN BURN WEST CHANNEL WILL BE DIVERTEDINTO THE FLOOD STORAGE AREA USING A CONCRETE FLOOD WALL.

CP-02

NEW BRIDGE OF 14m SPAN, OR THEREBY, CROSSING THE DIVERTEDWATERCOURSE TO ALLOW ACCESS FOR MAINTENANCE VEHICLES ANDPEDESTRIANS.

CP-03

WORKS WILL BE UNDERTAKEN TO CONSTRUCT AN ONLINE FLOODSTORAGE BASIN TO CONSIST OF EARTH EMBANKMENTS KEYED INTOEXISTING GROUND WITH A SUITABLE CUT-OFF AND A VEHICULARACCESS TRACK ON THE CREST. THE CHANNEL WILL BE REALIGNED.

CP-05
