struggling. % discoer that the formula %m bottle feeding the *ittens has
gone off when the dog refuses the leftoers but this realiation isnt intime to sae "ladimirs two siblings who hae been haing diarrhea also.
With fresh formula "lads diarrhea stops and he is health( briefl(.
4 wee*s old 5 nasal congestion rasp( breathing crust( e(es lethargic. 6e
seems to hae a bad cold.
+.+ wee*s old his cold is not subsiding so he is gien a shot of
onenia at the ets in !uncan. %t wor*s and he recoers. 6es also de5
wormed at the et on account of his pot bell( and spindl( legs but % dontsee him eer pass an( worm.
7 wee*s old catches another cold. % tried aithrom(cin on him 1.3 cc
once a da( for the past ma(be + da(s. % dont *now if its improed his
cold at all.
- wee*s old mouth ulcers discoered and his breathing and nasal
discharge are worsening. 6es seen at obble 6ill et on !ec 14thand
gien a shot of onenia 8% insisted *nowing that it might not help butwouldnt hurt9.
% begin force bottle5feeding him and giing him two subcues per da( of
20 ccs each as per the ets instructions. 6e deelops a ma:or ulcer that
ta*es up more than half the roof of his mouth and bleeds profusel(. ;er(
time he wa*es up from a nap his mouth chest and paws are coered in
blood that has seeped out of his mouth. %nitiall( he loses weight and
becomes terribl( thin but with intensie bottle feeding this stabilies and
he then starts to gain weight again.

6e does /O< eperience diarrhea or omiting.
10 wee*s old mouth ulcers are nearl( gone and "ladimir starts eating
dr( food and drin*ing water on his own again 8!ec 219. % stop giing himtwice dail( subcues unless for some reason % thin* he needs one. But
oer +57 da(s his balance becomes noticeabl( worse. oordination is
impaired growing worse eer( da( as the rest of his health problems
resole. 6is lac* of control oer his hips is the most obious impairment.
6e goes to !uncan $nimal 6ospital again on !ec 24th. We discuss the
possibilit( that he has >eline %nfectious ?eritonitis 8>%?9 which is a t(pe
of corona irus. %?.

something that suddenl( catches his attention. 6e constantl( falls down
when his hind legs swing too much to either the right or left. What he
does to moe across a floor is a combination of wal*ing and
swimming. 6e has recentl( lost his bab( fangs and grown adult ones.
"lad has adapted to his condition and learned to run b( *eeping his hindlegs together and using them li*e a pogo stic* to propel himself forward
while his front legs tr( to guide his direction and *eep him upright. 6e
bites a lot but mischieousl( rather than with a harmful intent and he
doesnt seem to be mentall( disabled. 6e can form plans and eecute
them li*e bolting for the open front door and diing into the grass or
chasing the dog or other cats. 6e can be er( loing and purrs when hes
cuddled. 6e uses his litterbo eer( single time but sometimes falls
down in it so he needs a bath once a wee* which is about the onl( time
he meows.

was not clear how the mouth ulcers were connected to her underl(ing
health problems if at all. % had tried chlorpalm on o( neer
deeloped the wobbling problem or omiting or diarrhea. 6e and "lad
onl( had bleeding noses in common.

predicted he was limping on &a( 4th. % neer saw him omit. 6e neer
became wobbl() he was :ust subdued for a few da(s and then got bac* his
sunn( disposition.

before he encountered ood leftoers were neer shared between the
*itten room and the rest of the house. #itter litter boes litter scoops and
litter buc*ets were *ept separate too and were freAuentl( bleached out.
aramel gae birth to fie *ittens on &a( 7th and we snuc* in three more
refugee *ittens who had been re:ected b( their own mother and did
supplementar( bottle5feedings to ma*e sure all *ittens had enough to eat.
