Balanced reason recognizes how the difference between  natural concentration and forced centralization is one of approach.   

Through studying the motion of events without attempting  to unduly influence their outcome it is possible to see attributes  inside a process, gathering an objective impression  of their far­reaching effects.   

This is establishing valid generalities, as opposed to  falling for easy generalizations.   

If one is hastily grouping things in clumps that seem  of similar class by appearance, they are prone to arranging exterior definitions while completely missing intrinsic properties.  

Self­inflicted mental myopia is a worse form of blindness  than loss of eyesight, making it the more damaging disability.  

Achieving outward change can commence only when  people begin changing their inner ways of perception.

Vitality in democratic countries can only be preserved when people exercise their continued participation in furthering progress toward needed reforms.   

This is not a one­off action, but ongoing civic duty ensuring  the compliance of oligarchs to follow the people’s will.   

Slashing programs that aid the under­advantaged while  doling out automatic exemptions from social responsibility for owners  of enormous wealth, is slanted policy that is immoral and repugnant.  

In place of granting subsidies in the form of guaranteed  revenue loopholes for tycoons and corporations, tie their tax rate  directly to a proportionate incentive to actually hire and train  additional staff from ranks of the chronically unemployed,  making it worth their while to do so.  

As exploitative interests keep getting bigger while remaining  off limits to active inclusion of the general population, the more compensation to society they owe for destructive bi­products  of their indulgent excess.   

If they substantially increase their contribution to  supporting a healthy workforce, it benefits the larger national interest  and pays back some of their longstanding debt to humanity.

In its evolution from peaceful republic to war­seeking empire, a nation becomes obsessed with staged rituals dividing right­facing parties from  the leftward oriented.   

Distracted by marching orders of politicians to parade either in a clockwise motion or to the counter, people are no longer able to make up their own minds  but only answer to slogans of programmed indoctrination.   

These old ideological duels to the death between black and white,  liberal or conservative, are obsolete histrionics, superseded by a need  to innovate original approaches to solving persistent global problems.

     When way of approach is clarified and able to expand, practicing a discerning respect for existent balance is encouraged to become productive. If it is stifled or confined,  harmful meddling with natural forces ensues,  resulting in environmental degradation.       Genuinely attending to vital details is the reverse of fussing over petty ornaments. Prolonged artificial finessing of settings  and situations grates against ways of nature with an arrogant friction. This will ultimately provoke outbreaks of hostilities, resorting to violence while negating peaceful conversation.

Human nature is neither originally virtuous nor guilty of absolute evil. There are various streams of ‘better than’ and not so good’ intermingling throughout all endeavors.  

Falling to the bad is simply forgetting, scapegoating some fantasized embodiment of evil in somebody else rather than  remembering to work on one’s own quality of character.  

A perceived constancy in values with capacity to overcome  any weakness of fate can only be discovered through sincere practice  of intelligent self­discipline, the one antidote  to unwitting slips back into ignorance.

Numerous territorial empires have risen over  the centuries only to fall from consequences of excess exploitation, the result of inflicting their brand  of insidious tyranny on loyal subjects.  

Now we have the domineering concept of commercial supremacy with its cutthroat market strategy, making unreasonable demands on more emotionally balanced perspectives capable of independent thinking. Worse than dictatorial, this non­stop ad campaign pushing authoritarian conformity to a distorted agenda of the corporate state targets healthy individuals for corrupting, ultimately breaking down natural morale.

Maybe the real value in meditation is more pragmatic than esoteric. With use it                           becomes a practical tool for balancing aspects of lifestyle through emptying out ill                         effects of unnecessary excess. Pausing to simply exhale and listen along the march of                           breaths reaching toward their goal, one can experience a subtle resonance within                       natural rest­beats of daily activity.    

Futile attempts at solidifying space are counter­resilient to maintaining progress,                   unable to meet challenges of swiftly evolving circumstance with flexible strength. Stiff                       insistence on pre­imposed assumptions of some disembodied absolute will inevitably                   

lose the flow of continued observation. This tends to trip up personal advancement                         by enforcing unhealthy reliance on external abstracts, missing the greater                   inter­relatedness of things.  

Matter and energy are intertwined. Healing is engaging motion able to bridge                       artificial blockages obstructing occurrences of advantageous awareness. Perhaps               what meditating in various forms active and passive allows, is a chance to revisit the                             many instances of spontaneous exchange that fill everyday life, linked through diverse                       sensations of ‘taking in’ and ‘letting go’.

Whether one’s own background is more multi­ethnic  in origins or less broad in viewpoint, we all are now operating within the context of worldwide socio­economic trends  which have diverse cultural roots.   

Our productive and communicative efforts increasingly  rely on custom blending various geopolitical perspectives  and their products of imagination, simultaneously  based in several different traditions.

Artists as independent entrepreneurs who make the crafting of original concepts their business play an important role as productive community members.  

Their kind of contribution to advancing progress  for the whole population is particularly valuable,  though often unrecognized.   

It opens opportunities for others to work with,  which lead toward discovering further innovation of  improvements possible in the context of shared culture.  

Individuals brave with truth­filled vision care to live  a more rugged existence away from all the pampered complacency and creature comforts dependent on overly domesticated social habit, for the sake of realizing potential  in their creative originality.  

In every generation they are the ones responsible for actually conceiving and re­inventing products of imagination which continue to inspire the older civilization  they sprouted from as offspring.   

Imaginative experimentation carried on at the fringes  of society has always been vital to its continued development  and creativity.

Part of being civil includes the responsibility of actually making sense.  

To neglect self­discipline in orienting one’s personal life while passionately  asserting a lot of blithering nonsense, blundering through politics as if rationality was an extraneous afterthought, just doesn’t cut it  and people instinctively get this.  

With all their spoiled whining about refusing to fund functions  of modern society, cutting unemployment compensation and ending survival benefits for victims of predatory capitalism, the real ‘takers’ in this country  are commercial gamers of the system who are only in it to swipe a fast buck from the common trust.   

Instead of making any substantial contribution to the public good  they have exploited, these industrial subsidy and chronic tax­loophole abusers are dependent on ritually protected company­sized forms of being  on the public dole as recipients of corporate welfare.

Without serious campaign finance reform, a cozy arrangement between political parties and money moguls will increasingly dilute  the people’s power of preference in elections by over­riding  less affluent voices of democracy.  

Industrial scale influence­peddling needs to be carefully  controlled or it will grow stronger at elbowing aside human concerns  as it pushes to dominate all decision making.   

Occupants of civilized nations have basic rights that cannot  be abridged without downgrading claims by any regime to being institutionally advanced.   

More than just exploitable consumers, modern citizens  are stakeholders in the entire system driving a country’s culture  and economy. They deserve to be treated respectfully by its leaders  and laws, not merely taken for granted.  

An amassed power of domineering persuasion­pacts to throw  the outcome of electoral issues through exerting extreme tactics  of paid advertising, must be intently regulated before it succeeds  in displacing the democratic process.

Physically moving around in one's immediate environment makes them aware of an ethical need for interacting well, both with local neighbors and fellow travelers from afar. If you walk through the day's open possibilities in a peaceful frame of mind, a welcoming mood extends forth toward others  which can smooth turbulent obstacles to better communication. Practicing an ongoing economy of peace surpasses any short term profit of aggression.

  Neglecting to facilitate public WiFi everywhere enabling everyone regardless of income to participate in our combined socio­economy, vested politico­commercial interests are unwittingly creating hot­spot congregation zones of widespread uprising around cafes and libraries.  

Disgruntled media refugees gather on the town common as they always have when excluded from private clubs, plotting their revenge  for being systematically undervalued and ignored.
