Who is PHVG?• 100% volunteer group• Non-political, non- sectarian, non-discriminating• Volunteers from all fields and backgrounds:

…businessmen, professionals, doctors, engineers, school teachers, salesmen, hotel employees, laborers, students, bankers, accountants, and others.

• Organized by a Core Team of dedicated volunteers working in their after-work free time

What do we do?• United for one purpose – to help Hajis during

their Hajj • Some services provided during help– Guiding to destinations– Translation service– Wheelchair service

World Assembly of Muslim Youth

• It is a non-political Non-Governmental Welfare Organization for Educational, Training & Guidance purposes

A FEW FACTs• Hajj is a life time experience & challenging worship.• Majority of Pakistani Hajis are semi-literate or

illiterate• Most of Pakistani Hajis are old & not in best health

condition.• Many Hajis speak only their native language• Thousands of Hajis get disoriented in Makkah &

Mashaair.

PHVG Vision

Provide support services to Hajj pilgrims through mobilization of Pakistani volunteers in

association with World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY).

Terms & conditions• Pakistani National• Holder of valid Saudi Iqama• Good Health• Have performed obligatory pilgrimage (Hajj)• Will not perform Hajj / Umrah• Attend orientation & final training session • Will not expect any monetary compensation• Ready for 12+ hour work shift in direct sunlight• Vaccination• Exercise

What to do & how to help• Physical help• Guide to Hospital / clinic• Guide towards camps / housing• Communication support between locals &

non-Arabic speakers

What support you will get?• ID Card, Jacket, • Maps & other guidance material• Transportation from Riyadh to Makkah & back• Adequate accommodation & food• Participation Certificate
