The passive proximity technology in the PAC tokenrequiresnobatteriesorphysicalcontactwiththereader;this helps assure that the tokens are virtually wear-freeand will provide years of service with no maintenancebackedbyalifetimeguaranteeagainstelectronicfailure.Robust,world-classconstructioncombinedwithadvancedtechnology, incorporating a pre-programmed uniqueidentification number without site codes, makesprogrammingeasyandcopyingalmostimpossible.

Togetherwiththeaccesscontrolsystem,thePACTokenenables a user’s movements to be monitored and thebuildingprotected.ThetokenneedonlybeheldnearaPACdoorreaderforthecodetobereadandaccessgrantedordeniedwithin0.5ofasecond.Intheeventthatthetokenislostorstolen,itcaneasilybereplacedandthelosttokenaccessprivileges,simplyandinstantlyrevoked.

ThePACTokeniscompatiblewiththeentireOneProx,PACand Easikey reader range, allowing easy incorporationintoanyexistingPAC-basedsystem,wherephotoIDisnotrequired.
