our mission of eliminating racism. Go to

ZONE
Zone Does Dinners
The Zone is committed to continuing to provide free, homemade, and healthy meals to Hastings area youth.
With the help of the Nebraska Department of Education, we are fortunate to offer
snacks and meals to students who otherwise might go home hungry. We are lucky to have
Rebecca Woolsey, who was once a lead baker at Back Alley Bakery, preparing meals and
teaching kids new kitchen skills. With the hard work of our employees and volunteers, we have
increased the dinners served by 43% compared to the 214-2015 school year.
Any child ages 1-18 is always welcome to enjoy a hot, homemade meal at the Zone on Tuesdays
and Thursdays starting at 6-7pm.
