OUACHITA FOOTBALL GRIDIRON CLUB WWW.OBUTIGERS.COM
The football program at Ouachita complements the university’s mission of educating the “whole person.”
Our mission is to take the student-athlete where he can’t take himself. We will create an environment that teaches young men to achieve a sound foundation for leadership and academic success, to relentlessly pursue and win the Great American Conference championship and to appreciate and embrace our differences.
Our mission is built on family values, spiritual definition and academic success. The football staff recognizes the importance of trust in each other and the desire to care about others. We will establish an attitude of total commitment to the goals we pursue.
The goal of the football program is to produce student-athletes who can overcome adversity, establish goals and priorities, appreciate diversity and excel in their academic endeavors.
OUACHITA FOOTBALL MISSION STATEMENT
Dear Tigers & supporters,
I would like to begin by expressing my appreciation of your past and future support! As we enter into our fifth season of competition in the Great American Conference, your support has never been more needed. Our coaches and student athletes continue to coach and play at a high level as well as succeed in the classroom, serve in the community and grow as young men. It is my hope that we will have record numbers join the Tiger Gridiron Club and make an investment in the program and the players who represent us! You will make a difference by joining!
Tiger Proud,Todd Knight
Dear Ouachita football supporter, First, I want to thank you for your past support of the Ouachita football program. There has never been a better time to be a Tiger. In this era of tight budgets at private colleges and universities across America, though, our need for outside support has never been greater. Won’t you please step up again with a contribution to the Tiger Gridiron Club? Please make out your check to Ouachita and put it into the enclosed envelope as soon as possible. Our players are counting on you. Sincerely,Rex NelsonRex Nelson

WHAT IS THE GRIDIRON CLUB?
It is the exclusive private fundraising arm of the Ouachita Tiger Football Program. The club was formed in 1986 and exists to help better fund the program.
WHY SHOULD I DONATE?
Increasing expenses, coupled with the increased need for external funding, has made it extremely challenging to maintain a competitive championship-caliber program.
WHERE WILL MY MONEY GO? (2015-2016 academic year)
Contributions go to help provide in the following areas:
SCHOLARSHIPS
The struggles of fully funding scholarships has become one of the greatest challenges we face. We must help offset the expenses of a private college education and have a significant impact on the well-being of every student.
FACILITY ENHANCEMENTS
We have secured a matching funds for the renovation of the weight room and fieldhouse. Much of our raised funds will go towards this project.
SUPPLEMENT BUDGET NEEDS
Travel, recruiting and supplies.
IS MY GIFT TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
Yes! Giving to the Tiger GridironClub is tax deductible as regulated by the IRS. Gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will be receipted the amount you gave less any tangible benefits you received.
