digestedandaveryminimalamountofpaper.- Tocleartheheadpump20timesensuringthewaterinthebowlbecomes

clear.- Changetheflushsettingtodryandpumpoutanywaterleavingtheheaddry

forthenextperson.- Wheneveratthedockbesuretouseshoresidefacilitiessoastokeepour

marinasandanchoragesclean.

Eachoftheheadsareequippedwithashower.Inadditionthetransomhasashowerhosewithfreshwateraccess.Usage

- First,ensurethatthefreshwaterpumpbreakeristurnedtotheonpositionatthe12vpanel.

- Theshowerdrainbreakershouldalsobeturnedonatthe12vpanel.- Foryourcomfortpleasedraintheshowerpanaftereachusewiththesmall

blackbuttonbesidethesink.- Thecockpit/transomshowercanbefullycontrolledfromtheunitwiththe- flowcontrolswitchontheshowerhead.

Refrigeration

Youryachtisequippedwithonelargerefrigerator.Inordertoensureproperrefrigerationpleasefollowtheseguidelines:

qq Supplementyourrefrigeratorwithablockoficeandabagoficecubesatthestartofyourcharter.

qq Packthefridgeinthereverseorderofwhichyouthinkyouwilluseyourfood.

qq Whenopeningthefridgetrytotakeouteverythingyouwillneedforthatmealatthesametime.

qq Usethedrainbuttontoemptyanymeltedicedaily.Ifyoufollowthesestepsnotonlywillyourfoodstaybetterrefrigeratedbutyourbatterieswilldolessworktokeeptherefrigeratorcool.

- Ensurethrottleisinneutralposition- Pushstopbuttonuntilenginestops,DONOTturnthekeytooffpositionuntil

engineisstopped.- Analarmwillsound- Turnkeycounterclockwisetouprightpositionasinthephotobelow

DailyEnginechecks

- Checkbeltfordamageandensureitistight(shouldturnnomorethan90degrees)

- Checkoillevel.Dipstickislocatedonthelefthandsideoftheengine.Thelevelshouldbeatleasthalfwaybetweenthetwolevelmarks.Ifnot,usespareoillocatedinyournavigationstable’sseat.Toaddoilopenorangefillcapontopofengine.Becarefulnottooverfill.

- Checkcoolantlevel.Iflowpleasetopup.Sparecoolantisalsolocatedinnavigationseat

AtthefirstsigofenginetroublepleasecallNESCforassistance.

Propaneand Stove

Thepropanelockerislocatedontheportsideofthetransom.DonotchangepropanetankwhenBBQislit.

Usage

- Turnonthegassolenoidswitchonyourinstrumentpanel.Thereisalsoasecondsolenoidswitchlocatedontherighthandsideofthestove,thisshouldbeintheupposition.

- Lightyourmatch,thenpushinthestove’sknobandturn90degreescounterclockwise.

- Lighttheburnerandholddownknobfor15secondstoensurethewholeburnerisignited

- Toturnofthestove,turnoffoneofthesolenoidswitches.Aftersolenoidhasbeenswitchedoffallowremaininggasinlinestocompletelyburnoff.Aftertheburnerhasgoneoutreturnthestoveknobtotheoffpositionandturnoffthesecondsolenoidswitch.

Ifyoususpectagasleakdonotuseanyoftheelectricalsystemsonboardincludingthebilgepump.

FreshWaterSystem

- Serenityhasonewatertankwithacapacityof85gallons.Trytoconserveyourwaterusageorexpecttorefillatsomepointduringyourcharter

- Whileunderwayensureyourdinghyisonalonglinetiedatthesterncleat.- Makesureyouaregoingataslowspeed(neutral)whenmovingyourdinghy

toalonglineasitcanbedifficulttoholdontoifnot.- Whomeverisoperatingthedinghyshouldbeover18.Neveroperatethe

dinghyundertheinfluenceofalcohol.- Tostarttheengine,lowertheengine,ensurefuellineisproperlyconnected

andpumpfuellinebulbuntilhard.Makesurethekill---cordisinplaceandthatthegearleverisinneutral.Facetheengineandpullthestartercordensuringnobodyisbehindyou.Ifafterafewpullsanditstillwon’tstart,pulloutthechokeandtryagain.Whentheenginehasstartedpushthechokebackin.

- Tostoptheenginepushinontheredbuttonorpullthekill---cordoff.- Whileunderwaythekill---cordshouldbeattachedaroundthelegofthedriver.- Topreventdinghytheftusethelockprovidedandkeepyourkillcordwith
