About Math Algebra 1 curriculum:

Units 1-3 (fall semester) Relationships Between Quantities Reasoning with Linear Equations/Inequalities Modeling & Analyzing Quadratic Functions

Units 4-6 (spring semester) Modeling & Analyzing Exponential Functions Comparing and Contrasting Functions Describing Data

Homework and late work Homework is given almost nightly. Homework is assessed for completion/effort and accuracy Accuracy HW grades come from “Weekly 10 Questions” on

blog (via Forms) Completion grades will be as follows:

Completed work-100% Half completed-50% Missing or never turned in-0% Late work will be assigned a grade of 50%

Absences Check the blog! A copy of notes will be provided for missed days. Getting additional notes from another student is

encouraged. The student is allowed as many days to make up work

as the length of the excused absence, including making up tests.

If a student is absent on the test day only, he or she is expected to take that test upon returning to school.
