Situated in the heart of Scotland’s beautiful capital city, the EICC is one of the world’s outstanding venues for conferences and events. The purpose-built centre offers the very best facilities and technology; and our experienced team will help to ensure your event’s success.
When the EICC was built in 1995, it became the first conference venue in the world to utilise revolving auditoria to optimise events space.
The Lennox Suite has the world’s first hall-wide tension wire grid and moving floor combination designed to deliver an array of different event set ups.
The EICC is a modern, purpose-built and fully-accessible events venue. The venue has been designed to be inclusive to people of all abilities and our team has received full Equality and Diversity Training.
Welcome to Edinburgh
ONE WORLD – CHALLENGING THE GLOBAL BOUNDARIES 3
Edinburgh is renowned for inspiration and innovation. For centuries it has nurtured some of the greatest minds in philosophy, economics, finance, literature, law, medicine, engineering and architecture. Often referred to as the ‘Festival City’, Edinburgh offers a year-round programme of arts and cultural events.
Edinburgh Airport is just 20 minutes from the city centre and has connections to 120 worldwide destinations. Rail links to the city run all over the UK, with more than 20 daily trains running between Edinburgh and London, taking just over four hours.
Once in Edinburgh, travelling around this compact, walkable city could not be easier, with buses, trams and taxis in plentiful supply. The EICC is right in the heart of Edinburgh and a short walk from a great selection of hotels and attractions.
With its stunning Georgian and Victorian architecture, and medieval streets, it’s easy to see why Edinburgh has been listed as a World Heritage Site; the setting is captivating. Edinburgh Castle dominates the urban skyline, perched atop the crags of an ancient volcano right in the centre of the city. The city is one of the most vibrant, cosmopolitan cities in Europe and is bustling with arts, culture, sports and many other attractions and is famous for playing host to the world’s largest arts festival.
The 5th Global QA ConferenceThe full conference programme is both stimulating and informative and carries the theme – One world – Challenging the Global Boundaries and delegates, who will be drawn from around the world, will experience a programme of topical presentations, interactive sessions, workshops and QA Clinics organised by a Programme Committee of well-respected industry experts.
