Jill, “So this is where you’ve been hiding. I saw you run to the back, but didn’t think you’d come to the study.”

“What happened to Carmen?”

“She’s dead.”

“I killed her myself.”

“I understand.”

Gargamel, “What happens now? “Jill, “Whatever do you mean? I’ll do whatever is necessary and required of you. Anything to be with you, Gargamel.”“Please, don’t say things like that. I can’t think straight. This happened so fast and now I don’t even know what to do.”“I have a thought then. What if you went back to your former job? Back to being a Criminal Mastermind? You’ve already got the credential and I’m certain whatever minions you had before will come flocking back.”

“I want to get away from here, then. Anywhere but here. Let’s go someplace safe.”“Of course. Any good Criminal Mastermind will have a secret evil lair someplace. This will be so grand, Gargamel.”“I don’t care about any of that non-sense. I just want to be away from here.”

And where will you go?

“Someplace safe. Someplace far from here. A place that no one will ever suspect or stumble upon.”“This is starting to sound romantic. Perhaps an island somewhere. Would you like for it to have a volcano on it? Or do you think that would be too conventional.”“As I said, I don’t care about those details. Just a safe place to go.”

Jill, “Gargamel, why are you crying? Don’t tell me you’re shedding tears for that rotten bitch. Have you forgotten how she forced you into marrying her? How she forced herself onto you time after time. Don’t cry for that woman.”
