DESIGN | knitwear | mood

DESIGN | knitwear | construction

My inspiration for knitwear was a carousel. I used the lines in the architecture to create the patterns and yellow to represent the lights on the merry go round.

Material | 100% Alpaca Wool

DESIGN | tailoring | construction

My inspiration for this coat was the Gibson Girl and the Edwardian Period in the late 1800s and early 1900s. I incorporated my inspiration in the ruffled collar and the femininity of the details in the front princess seams and the back detail.

Material | 100% Wool

DESIGN | bodywear | construction

My inspiration for bodywear was the beach. I incorporated the colors of the sand, sky, and water and made two bathing suits and two cover ups.

Material | Nylon and Spandex

DESIGN | childrenswear | construction

My inspiration for this project was peachicks (which are child peacocks). I used the greens, blues and purples to create a reversible jacket and dress.

Material | 100% Cotton

DESIGN | textile hair dress and dyed dresses

This was a group project where we had to design a non-apparel textile dress. We chose to make a dress out of hair. We also had to dye a synthetic material and natural material with the same dye to see what the dye did to different fabrics.

Material | Hair extensions and spices used to dye

ILLUSTRATION | cfda project | mood

This was a project for CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America). My collection was inspired by bubbles and their colors and shapes.
