Fruit Kingdom Okayama
Okayama Prefecture, the Land of Sunshine, is also known as a major producer of fruits, thanks to the warm climate of the Setouchi region. Among them, Okayama is best known for peaches, which are in season from July to August. Okayama’s white peaches are grown in individual bags and tended to by hand. They are grown with great care, and are known for their melt-in-your-mouth softness and exquisite sweetness. In this edition, we have compiled a variety of information about these peaches.
