Introduction of Exercise Black Rainbow

A Tier-2 Oil Spill Response Exercise was conducted on 22 April 2018 to:

1. Test Petrofac Malaysia’s Emergency Response Procedure.

2. Assess Response Team (offshore and onshore) effectiveness.

3. Appraise effectiveness of onboard equipment.

Exercise Black Rainbow in Numbers

▪ 3 different venues (Port Dickson, FPSO Cendor and Menara Prestige)

▪ 65 highly dedicated response personnel

▪ 35 in Port Dickson

▪ 10 offshore responder

▪ 20 onshore Emergency Management Team

▪ 160 KM from the shoreline of Kemaman Supply Base

▪ A total of 5 hours on a hot day
