Differentiated Instruction

• All students will be involved in different learning modalities: videos, readings, writings, powerpoints, posters, podcasts, role-play, etc…We will all help to be successful

Be Positive

• Leave all negativity out of the classroom…You can succeed/improve…not ‘I know it’s not good, I didn’t do well’, etc…

# 1 Rule

• SAFETY is still the #1 Class Rule…No horseplay will be tolerated…this includes throwing ANYTHING across the room or physical contact of either sex…

Bell to Bell Teaching

• We teach from beginning bell to closing bell…you are not permited to start closing up and leaving seats till Teacher says goodbye…That is school policy

Reading and Writing

• Readings and Writings will be practiced daily to promote skills for FCAT and college…This will be reflected in Homeworks…

Technology

• We will use as much current technology as I can acquire: This includes, but is not limited to: videos, powerpoints, ipads, clickers, computers, ladbugs, podcasts…

Your success

• “FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION”…if you fail, it is your choice, not mine…

Tardies

• Noone will be allowed to enter the class after the bell without an approved, colored daily tardy pass…doors will remain locked after the bell…

Make-up

• Make-up work: ie. Tests, quizzes, assignments, is the students’ responsibility….I will only help you before school or when time permits…Ask your classmates or e-mail your instructor accordingly.

• 1 day late = 50%, 2 days late = 0, absentees refusing to seek make-up work will obtain 0, otherwise up to 3 days to make-up…

Lab Classroom

• No food, drink, or gum, chewing will be allowed in this lab classroom at any time unless teacher permits( ie. Exiting with birthday treats)
