NewIrrigationWellTimarroncontinuestoworkcloselywiththeCityofSouthlakePublicWorksandmeetingwiththemregularlytocontinuethewellprogress.Theirrigationlinesareprogressingslowlybutweshouldhavethelandscapecleanedupjustintimefor spring. At the same time, homeownerswill see theBentCreekponddrainedtoinstallthepumpstation.Becauseofthelowwaterlevels,wemustagainturnoffthefountaintoavoiddamage. While thepondisdrained,TOAwill takeadvantageof this timeandhave thesurface inspected. For thoseofyouconcernedaboutthefish,thereisnoneedtoworryaslowerareasallowfishtosafelypool.MajesticManor Fountain in theCascades The shaft to theMajesticFountainpumpshearedforthesecondtimeinayearwhichresultedinitsshippingtothemanufacturerforinspection.Thismaybeawarrantyissue,ifdefective,asthisfailureisnottypical.The shipping andmanufacturer inspection delays arefrustratingnowbutmayavoiditsfailureinthefuture.InFebruary,Cascadeshomeownerswillseethefountainrunningagain.Whiledrained, the fountain allowedTimarron to perform significantmasonryrepairstotheMajesticFountainwalls.Bent Creek Playground The newBent Creek playgroundequipment is installed. Please takea lookat thismost recentTimarronimprovement.BentCreekVolleyballCourtThedirt,grass,andcontaminatedsandisremovedandreplacedwith38-yardsofnewsandattheBentCreekVolleyballCourt.TimarronSecureCards Timarron homeowners are providedsecurecardstoentermanyoffacilities.Theseaccesscardsareusedforalltenniscourtgates,BentCreekpoolfacilities,andtheBentCreekfitnesscenter. Thisspringweareupdatingaccesscontrol systems and reissuing cards. Due to systemcapacityconstraints,eachTimarronhomeisallotteduptotwo(2)securecards. Thisfirst card issued this spring is at no charge. Yield at a roundabout:Always yield to vehicles already in theroundabout.Entertheroundaboutonlywhenthereisanadequateandsafegapinthetraffic. Driving a roundabout:Continuethroughtheroundaboutfollowingthepathofthecircularroadway. Exiting a roundabout:Movetotherighttoexittheroundabout.Bepreparedtostopforpedestriansasyouexit.
