What is the ODP? A global platform for voluntary disclosure of seafood sourcing.

Our aim: To promote transparency in seafood supply chains.

Growing the Ocean Disclosure Project • October 2015 – launch of the ODP • September 2017 – launch of the new ODP website.

The website launched with nine participants. More to come in late 2017 / early 2018.

We aim to be the global platform for seafood disclosure. Therefore: Companies that choose to prepare their own disclosure reports can still share this through the ODP.

Participation is free and straightforward, we ask companies to: • Share the list of main wild-caught seafood species sourced • Review the draft profile.

We take the list of fisheries and combine it with information on the environmental performance of those fisheries.

Interactive mapping of source fisheries

Environmental notes summarise analysis from FishSource. If a FishSource profile is incomplete, we use public information for: • provisional stock status and management ratings; and / or • provisional environmental notes.
