2. Give a conformity status to conditions

As the built-up area is more than
1,50,000sqm therefore the said notification is
not applicable for our project

Key Energy Conserving Features:
Architecture:
•The building design has incorporatedshading through massing and verticalprojections as an in-built part offenestration design.
•In addition to the overall facadedesign, local shading devices of 0.6 mhave been incorporate over all thewindows.
•Almost all habitable spaces have anexternal facade thereby providingoptimum daylight. This shall negate theuse of artificial lighting throughout theday.

The openings are conducive to the wind availability and the operable area is more than 20 % of the floor area for all habitable spaces.
By virtue of the plot orientation, most of the apertures are within 30 deg from available wind direction.
The vertical elements in the building design act as wind guides on the South and North Side elevations.
The Liv-Kit-Din design facilitates cross-ventilation required for warm and humid climate.
The window positions fulfil the recommended sill levels to ensure air movement at critical height within a space. This shall ensure better perception of thermal comfort and reduce use of fans and AC's

Villas & Flats: The developer shall not be providing air conditioning equipment, since the project is primarily designed to be naturally ventilated. However, the tenant and occupant guideline shall be provided by the developer specifying energy efficient minimum 3 star rated AC's

Insulation and Light Colored Finishes
ENERGY CONSERVATION PLAN
Effective measures have been incorporated to minimize the energy consumption in the following
manners:
Maximum use of sunlight
The high efficiency CFL lamps shall be used
DG sets are controlled by PLC panel
Illumination level in different area is as per NBC
To economize on the use of energy, following main systems are proposed to be adopted:
Adequate design to limit the losses in transmission and distribution system.
Use of energy efficient devices like light sources such as true-lite fluorescent lamps and
compact fluorescent lamps.
Use of insulation on roof top to reduce air-conditioning load.
Use of capacitors at load centers to improve voltage and power factor to reduce
distributional losses and also to avoid penalty by state electricity authority.
The project, will involve uses of glass with coating of low e-value. These glass will help is
reduction of the heat intake thereby reducing the Air-conditioning load.
Suitable energy optimization is adopted during the calculation of energy load of the project. The
space heating load will be minimized using passive solar structure and suitable buildings envelop
material. Uses of compact fluorescent and fluorescent lamps will be used for all common area
and basement parking.
Roof insulation will be provided using earthen pots or thermocol on the top floor of the Building.
The U-values of the roof, external wall and glazing of the building will meet the requirements as
specified in the Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC).

The uses of non-conventional source of energy in the construction project are as follows:
a. Solar Water Heater
The project will be installed solar panels for hot water requirements and hence, the
dependency on electricity for hot water generation can be minimized.
b. Solar Street Light
It is also suggested to use solar cell powered street lights within the project site for
conservation of electricity.
c. Use of CFL Lamps
The project proponent will use CFL Lamps which conserve less electricity
d. Natural Ventilation and Lighting
All building blocks of the project are designed with natural ventilation and natural light so
that the use of lights during day time can be minimized. All fenestration with U-factors,
SHGC, or visible light transmittance determined, certified and labeled in accordance ISO 15099
shall be adopted.
ENERGY CONSERVATION MEASURES
• Materials for Doors and window which are poor heat conductor will be used.
• Fly ash made bricks and cement will be used.
• All the roof is proposed to be insulated to minimize heat gain with 50 mm expanded
Polystyrene or equivalent material.
• CFL based lighting will be done in the common areas, landscape areas, signages, entry
gates and boundary walls etc.
• Use of solar water heater systems has been proposed for the project.
• Optimum use of skylights.
• External and basement parking lighting will be time controlled.
• DG sets shall be on auto cut and auto start controlled mechanism.
• Solar lighting is proposed for open spaces and signages.
