Knights Camp

New Battle name for our sports teams.

The name "Oaklawn Academy Knights" was introduced. Having a mascot and a "battle name" can contribute to a greater identification with the academy and boost the  Oaklawn spirit.

WHY? First to present our students with some of the qualities identified by knighthood: bravery, courtesy, honor, etc. Secondly, the initials of the name still form: O.A.K.

A former student and former assistant, helped with the designs. Include not only a logo but a character that later on will be animated as a cartoon.

Staff, alumni families and friends voted through our Facebook page
