Office BuildingSeveral existing Pennovation Works buildings, including the Office Building, have been identified as having potential for re-use.

The Office Building is a 25,000 square foot masonry structure, located near the entrance to the site. The building’s floor-to-floor height and limited floor plan make it a prime candidate for office use and storage, rather than laboratory functions. The nearly below-grade first floor offers good opportunities for long term storage. While the narrow floorplans limit flexibility, they do afford the second and third floors lots of daylight, making them good candidates for office space. The upper floors also offer good views of the City and the University.

The building is in the process of being upgraded to bring it up to code for the proposed uses, including the installation of additional egress stairs and an elevator.
