As every other year: bring whatever materials you
need to do your Christmas craft, whether it be cards
to send, tree or home decorations, wreaths, presents
or pictures for new ideas which may inspire someone
else. If you have extras so others can try out your
ideas, great. If you haven’t got ’fresh’ inspiration but
are happy to do the same as last year: just do so! It’s
about being together. I’ll be making mulled wine again,
there will be Christmas music & decorations. Please
bring some ‘Christmas food’ to share (and maybe
share the recipe!)
It would be really appreciated if some people can help
decorate the room in the afternoon…...Let me know
if you can; it would help a lot. Looking forward to see-
ing you all on the night! Remember to bring your Santa
hat :) Lilian

Flax weaving evening at Marj’s
Marj has again offered to share her knowledge of flax
weaving on Tuesday 19 November from 7-9 p.m. She
has completed a 6 month course herself and is happy to
show how to make small baskets for people who are al-
ready familiar with flower weaving. To give Marj an idea
of how many people she will be working with, please let
me know on: lilianmelssen@clear.net.nz by Friday 15
November.
We will be working on Marj’s deck and apparently it can
get a little messy so make sure your clothes are warm (or
not , if temperatures have really improved by then) and
comfortable.
Marj doesn’t want anything for her generosity but wasn’t
against the idea of bringing a plate so please bring some
food to share for the evening.
See you there: 130 Hall Street, Hokitika and remember
to RSVP.
