practical assistance with health, childcare, education, and advocacy
Opportunity to learn about options available, safety planning, financial & legal resources, custody, peacebonds and restraining orders
Staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 10 Different languages including English, Cantonese
and Punjabi
Crisis Lines Professional volunteers provide emotional support and information for
people in distress from 8:00am until midnight daily
Depression, anxiety, loneliness, interpersonal relationship problems, financial, mental health issues, suicide, LGTB
Provide crisis intervention and referral information
Crisis Line also provides triage and direct links for callers to Richmond Mental Health Emergency Services
We marked a milestone of 10,000 calls annually on the crisis lines
