PASTORAL LEADER’S NOTES Dear Parishioners,
NEW ACCOUNTANT AT ST. MARY, WINNECONNE & OMRO
Please join me in welcoming Mary Ann Wagner, our new parish accountant for St. Mary’s Church in Winneconne and Omro. Mary Ann lives in the town of Winneconne and comes to us with “decades of experience in accounting and payroll processes using a wide variety of software...she has also worked in a company with over $500 million in annual sales with 11 locations and over 400 employees.” Mary Ann has a great love of the church and is eager to work with our staff and learn about our parish communities. If you stop in the office this week be sure to introduce yourself to Mary Ann!
NEW CUSTODIANS AT ST. MARY, WINNECONNE & OMRO
We also have new custodians in our parishes this week. As of October 1, Annemarie Birschbach will be working at St. Mary, Winneconne and Janet Wegner will be at St. Mary, Omro. Both Janet and Annemarie come with an eagerness to make sure our buildings are a clean and welcoming place for people to pray and share community.
Welcome to both of you! We are glad to have you as part of our staff in our parishes!

Thank you for your continued support of our Sister Parish in Erwin, TN. Because of your generosity we collected $3100.00 last weekend.
This money will cover our annual financial commitment to St. Michael the Archangel and along with our prayers and constant support, is part of the covenant we made with that faith community eight years ago.
Our Mission Team from St. Mary, Winneconne, will be leaving for Erwin, TN on Wednesday, October 2. They will be helping our Sister Parish run their craft and food booths at the Unicoi County Apple Festival where over 100,000
people descend on Erwin for two days. Members of the team include Mary Berger, Sr. Colleen Demro and Donna and Craig Rider. Please pray for their safe travel and a successful weekend for St. Michael’s Parish.

FIRST NEWS ABOUT THE DIOCESAN CAPITAL CAMPAIGN!
After much prayer and discernment, Bishop Ricken is launching a capital campaign called the one by One campaign. This diocesan-wide campaign will empower each of us to more fully share in the mission of the Church. Through this campaign we will be able to share with many more people the healing, teaching and loving presence of Jesus where we live, work and pray.
50% of what we raise will go towards needs within our parish. The remaining 50% will be used by the one by One campaign to support these Diocesan initiatives: enhance Catholic education, broaden social services programs and living justice ministries and care for our seminarians.
The one by One campaign is a tremendous opportunity for each of us to more fully participate in our call to missionary discipleship.
LOTS more information to come in the weeks ahead!!!!
