Dear Parents/Carers
Thank you to all those parents who have brought their children into school today after yesterdaysschool closure due to industrial action, our attendance continues to improve so thank you for yoursupport with this. We are pleased to announce that Barlow Hall Primary School has been awarded itsInvestors in People Gold Award, an award that is only achieved by 3% of organisations nationally, lookout for our new certificate and the plaque when it comes. Celebration Assembly: Monday 9:109:30 amYou are welcome to join us for this event. we will text you if your child is to receive a special award.Birthday cards are presented in Celebration Assembly to children having birthdays during the week
Requests for Absence from School
Please ensure that any requests for absence from school for
the rest of the term or the beginning of September as failure
to do so could result in children losing their places in school
or parents being fined. If a child is leaving Barlow Hall and
will not return please let Sharon know in writing by the end
of the week.***********
Transition Day Wednesday 3rd July
Transition to new classes starts on Wednesday next week
when children will be spending the morning with their new
teachers. Children will line up in their new classes in the
morning and be taken directly to their new classroom by
their new teachers. Parents are invited into school at 2:30
pm to meet their childs new teacher and spend some time
in their new class with their child.. Children will be dismissed
from their new classes.***********
Sports Day
Sports Day will take place in School on Thursday if theweather is fine. Key Stage 1 and 2 events will take place on
the front field, with KS1 taking place at 9:30 am and KS2 at
1:30 pm. Nursery and Reception Classes will hold their
Sports day in the Nursery playground at 1:30 pm.
~In the event of bad weather Sports Day will be postponed
until the following week on Thursday 11th July. Times will
remain the same.*******
Gardening/Plants
If anyone has any spare plastic plant pots or seeds could they
please pass them onto Sharon for our gardening Club.
We also hold a weekly gardening club for parents at 1pm on
Mondays and parents/carers are welcome to come along andjoin Sharon in transforming the quad area for the children.
