From the Secretary’s pen…….
Dear Colleagues
We are going to be witness to the most exciting scientific programme as promised. This programme has been created in close collaboration with our guest society DGNC. Their stalwarts are participating at all fora of the meeting including morning symposiums. We have very rich free paper session and extended poster presentations. The organising secretary has already informed about very good registration strength. Neurology and Allied Section is dwelling upon the burning issues of day to day practice. The neurosurgery programme has been enriched with recent advances controversies video sessions, case presentations etc. To allow maximum participation across the members we are coming with short / flash presentations.
In an endeavour to make society progress on inclusive agenda a young neurosurgeons forum and practicing Neuroscientists forum is being conceptualized. This will need a qualified inputs from members across our society.
While we are heading for rich scientific exposition we are faced with administrative challenges too. Your qualified presence during general body meeting on 20th December 2012 evening will give not only strength to society but guidance to steer clear of the challenges. Please join up to make society feel proud of its members.
Come December 19th. I welcome you all.

Proposed Amendment Sub: Addition of Tagline to the name of Neurological Society of India Apprehension has been voiced by several neurosurgeon members of our society that the name of our society does not represent neurosurgeons adequately, although they form the majority. It is suggested that we add the following tagline to Neurological Society of India, the name of our society,_ "oldest and largest body of neurosurgeons in India".
