This is the rescheduled meeting from March.

Only submit new photos this month if you did not submit for

the March meeting. Submit 5 images that are both successful

and unsuccessful following the guidelines on page 2. Limit

file size to 5 Mb.

This is not a normal image sharing session. It is our evening's

program. You will be asked to discuss each image according

to the guidelines.

IMPORTANT: To ensure your photos are grouped together,

name the file with your first name, last name, and number (1-5)

For example: “first_last_1.jpg”

The CMC photo section holds monthly meetings

the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.

This is the rescheduled meeting from March. Please come to the meeting with notes for

each image according to the guidelines below.

Guidelines for All About Light Presentation

WHAT: Type of camera and settings you used

SUBJECT: Type of lighting (side, back, reflected, diffused, cloudy etc)

WHEN: Time of day

WHERE: Location of shooting

ACCESSORIES USED: Filter, tripod, reflector, diffuser, cable release

WHAT YOU LEARNED: Successful or unsuccessful

The meeting will be interactive, starring members of the audience. Last August at

Colleen Miniuk-Sperry’s presentation, Seeing the Light in Outdoor Photography, we

learned how important understanding and using light is to photography.

Remember the success of the meeting depends on YOUR participation!

What: Instead of a regular meeting at the AMC, we will meet at Kendrick Lake Park.

Where: Kendrick Lake Park, 9351 West Jewell Ave., Lakewood CO 80232

Meet at the picnic shelter west of the parking lot.

When: July 10th. Starts at 4:00 PM until 8:00.

Activities: A photography scavenger hunt. A list of subjects to photograph will be provided.

We will have an opportunity to see others’ interpretations when we show our photos at the

August meeting.

In addition, you will have photo ops galore: There is a beautifully designed and maintained

xeriscaped garden featuring a variety of shrubs, trees, cacti, succulents and other drought

tolerant plants and flowers. A walk around the lake, reflections and most likely waterfowl,

Lots to spur your imagination. We will have late afternoon and evening light to challenge us.

What to bring: Snacks, Water, Drinks (only beer allowed), Camera, Lenses, Tripod

It has a new photographer once or twice a week and is also a Facebook group where anyone can upload photos.
