Internal Champion TeamWhat is an Internal Champion Team?

A team within your organization that will help us ensure every Recruiter user is ready for the new experience. By following a ‘train the trainer’ approach, LinkedIn will train this team to be the ‘trainers’ for their own teams.

What will be the main roles & responsibilities of the Internal Champion(s)?

You will be our main point of contact. Responsibilities include:

1. Be the first to become experts in the new experience2. Utilize our resources to become the ‘trainer’ of their teams and execute training plans3. They will have the ultimate decision on “opting out’ a dashboard (as the in-app option will be disabled for

Large Accounts)4. Play a key role on carrying out our momentum and recognition plans

What type of ‘personas’ or “roles’ are we looking for?

This team is formed with the main ‘go-to’ contact(s) of each account, for example:● Main Admins (or Super Admins)● Operational Leads● Identified by Executive Sponsor to work on the New Recruiter and Jobs transition

*This could be the same team that worked through the TSEP implementation

When does training begin with my CSM?

Your CSM will reach out to Internal Champions 60 days before the migration to the New Recruiter and Jobs experience.

What does the training entail? Following the “train the trainer” method, your CSM will provide an overview of all training material available for your organization including webinars, an implementation plan, an email template, product overview guides, and other marketing material. Throughout the migration period, your CSM will check-in with your internal champion team to provide guidance along the way. Your CSM can also add incremental training depending on the complexity of your account.

Roles + Responsibilities

Why do we need Internal Champions? Your LinkedIn Customer Success Manager will be responsible for empowering the Internal Champion team with the tools and resources that you will need to become the ‘change agents’ for your company.

✔ Organizational expertise: Internal Champions know their companies the best and we want to support the team through an organizational change

✔ Product knowledge: By this method, internal champions become product experts in the new experience who can help onboard their organization assisting with questions and training.
