DUTY OF A PERSON HEARING THE FIRE ALARM.

1. Be aware that whenever the fire alarm sound/announcement, it may be of a very real emergency situation.2. Leave the building by the shortest possible route.3. Remain calm and proceed to evacuate the area in an orderly manner.4. Do not use Lifts.5. Do not rush, push, of panic. Rely on planning and knowledge.6. Assist disabled person to evacuate the area. Be particularly aware of person with sight or hearing disabilities Do not go back to retrieve belongings.8. Proceed to the assembly area…………………………back of the Bulu Ocean Tower building, Alternative assemble area. Switch off any electrical equipment or fuel sources in your room.9. Close window and doors if safe to do so.10. Do not cluster around doorway.11. Do not hinder firefighting Team, Security Team-(Link3 warden & BMS) and fire Brigade Officers in carrying out their duties. 12. Wait for further instruction from the Link3 floor warden / CW- (Chief Warden)13. Don’t re-enter the building until authorized to do so by the CW.
