Dempsey offers two disclosure options for libraries:
1. Machine-readable interfaces to available content
2. Redirection from common discovery environments

Requires: work by library or end user liaison with provider for maximum effectiveness interoperability / standards

Services: Z39.50, RSS, OAI-PMH, Web Services… Data: expose to search engines or other tools Long way to go in mainstream academic environment Example: Metasearch tools as starting points
- Integrate a range of discovery locations; package for the user
Example: MetaLib federated searching
Next steps: “free” the underlying data
