■ ■ History of NARI Digital AVRHistory of NARI Digital AVR
•In 1979, a Digital AVR team was set up in NARI.
•1984, Micro-computer based AVR was developed in NARI, which is the first in the world.
•April 27th.1985, the first Digital AVR was put into commercial operation at 50Mw #2 unit in Chitan #2 Generator Hydropower Station. It means Generator Excitation in China had changed from analog into digital era, which was leading in the world at that time.
•Before 1998 ,the main AVR used is Analog type. From 1998 till now, D-AVR for hydro-.steam- generators are widely used in most Chinese power stations.
