The 2018 National Board Meeting was called to order by Chairman Freddy Dunn on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 8:00 AM. A list of national directors/attendees is attached. The colors were presented by Fairchild Air Force Base. Sherry Copeland completed roll call and a quorum was called. A moment of silence for lost members was held. Darrell Wallace presented boardsmanship. Additions to the agenda included Casey Hofstadter’s presentation of his travel to Germany. Actions taken:

Motion made to revise the business meeting agenda to include the Hofstadter presentation. Motion passed.

Motion made and passed to approve the consent agenda. Motion made to approve the Vision Committee Report. Motion passed. Motion to approve Wisconsin as a state. Motion passed. Motion made to receive and file the treasurer’s report. Motion passed. Motion made to approve the May 1, 2018 – April 30, 2019 budget. Motion passed. Motion to approve the committee reports as presented. Motion passed.

Education Expansion Fundraising Marketing & Media National Public Lands State Public Lands Public Liaison/Advocacy Vision (vote on resolution) Volunteer Hours Contract Review

The resolution from Utah regarding youth membership was amended. The resolution passed with amendment changing the age of youth to be aged 12-25 years. Motion passed.

Motion made to approve the nominating committee report. Motion passed. Motion to close nominations. Motion passed.

Motion made to re-elect the Chairman, Freddy Dunn, Vice Chairman, Darrell Wallace and Treasurer, Sherry Copeland. Motion passed.

Elected to serve on the executive committee were Mark Himmel, Ginny Grulke, and Mike McGlenn.

Motion made to destroy the ballots. Motion passed.
