As a CIO, my biggest challenge isn’t technology.

IT is leadership. IT is people.

Better Tomorrow

Better Today . . . Small Steps

For the next 30 days, I am going to . . .1. Not go more than 2 days without doing something in the form of exercise for one

hour2. Incorporate some sort of exercise into my day 3. Spend 30 minutes of personal spiritual devotion and at least 30 minutes of

exercise4. Spend 20 minutes per day learning Spanish.5. Take a photo every day6. Not add any additional salt to food I eat.7. Write a poem everyday8. Walk on my treadmill. I will start at 10 minutes on the first day and add one minute

each day for 30 days.9. Study for and obtain a license to sell life & health insurance.10. I am going to learn some new music every day for 30 days. And hopefully I can

keep that going forever. It’s always on my mind; sometimes the days and weeks just slip away and I’ll find I haven’t touched the guitar, piano, or keyboard.

11. Start to prepare for running a half marathon by following a training plan. Maybe I'll sign up for a race eventually, but for the next 30 days, I'll just run.
