Certification• NAMSS is committed to increasing new
candidates for CPCS & CPMSM Certification
• NAMSS will continue aggressively promoting certification at state meetings and proactively seek other opportunities to emphasize the value of being certified
• NAMSS seeks to retain certified professionals as of December 15, 2008
What Are We Doing?• NAMSS has achieved NCCA accreditation
for the CPCS and CPMSM certifications. • NAMSS CCN completed a job task analysis
which was used to develop the newest versions of the certification exams
• Implementing a Certificant Referral Program to increase certificant candidates
Education• NAMSS is dedicated to supporting MSPs
throughout their professional lifecycle• NAMSS has invested in research to
support education program development• Maturing workforce = need for engaging
newcomers to sustain profession and NAMSS
What is NAMSS Doing?• In 2009-2010 NAMSS will be launching
a series of web based courses that will meet the needs of newcomers to the profession
• In 2008 NAMSS launched a CPCS Prep Course
• In 2009 NAMSS will be launching a CPMSM Prep Course
