• monitoring of the delivery of veteran peer support services related to behavioral health issues

• monitoring of the implementation of family member facilitated family-to-family education groups related to behavioral health issues

• developing of collaborative advisory groups for supports and services for veterans and their families to initiate

• enhance or expand community resource coordination related to basic needs with community partners, individuals and organizations • linkage to Therapeutic Justice Services

• Establish community based practices for diverting veterans with mental illness and substance abuse needs from incarceration and ERs

• Establish trauma informed and trauma specific services for Vets and training for Staff

• Implement or expand Crisis Intervention Training: include PTSD and TBI instruction for Law Enforcement

• Establish or expand Specialty Courts: i.e. Veteran’s Court, Mental Health Court and Substance Abuse Court

• Establish or expand Peer to Peer Network Volunteer and Support

• Establish or expand “Boots on the Ground” case management
