NACE Student Account and Purchasing Guide

PART 1: Creating an Account in the RCC NLN Portal

1. Go to the RCC NLN Portal: https://ondemand.questionmark.com/home/405669/user/

2. Click “Create a new account”

3. Create a username and enter your email address. Be sure to enter an email that you can easily access!

a. Type “Rockingham” in the search box

b. Click “Refine Groups”c. Check the box to select Rockingham Community College

4. Select your school (Rockingham Community College)

5. Fill out your name, birthday, and address.

Skip the “Details” box

6. Click to create your new account.

7. Check your email and click on the provided link.

8. Set and confirm a password. NOTE: You will need this password to take your test. Be sure to record it somewhere before moving on.

8. Set your local time zone. For Eastern Time select “America/New York”

9. Save your profile.

PART 2: Registering for the NACE

1. Log into the NLN portal and click “Buy Exam”

2. Enter NRF_1 in the SKU Contains field and click Apply

3. Confirm you have selected the Foundations of Nursing for HyFlexexam and click Add to Cart

4. Click the shopping chart icon to checkout

5. Click the Checkout button to continue

6. Confirm you have selected the Foundations of Nursing for HyFlex exam and click “Continue to next step” to pay for the exam with a credit card.

7. Complete the confirmation and payment process using a credit card.

After you receive confirmation of payment the NACE will be available in your NLN portal under My Assessments. You can either:

(1) take the test using a personal computer or laptop (see Technical Requirements (link))(2) reserve a time to take the test in a campus computer lab
